Guillermo worked with me and my 8 mos old Lab Gus. Gus liked to pull on leash. Guillermo gave me the tools to walk Gus confidently and helped me to understand how to communicate better with him. TLDR; Guillermo is a great listener to both our needs and our dog's needs. He was able to teach us and our dog on how to communicate and listen to each other. We are very happy and grateful for his help and guidance.
We adopted our dog Chip (3 year old Podenco) in April 2022. We gave Chip time to adjust but we were having a difficult time training him to listen to us and walk on lead.
We found Guillermo online and figured we could try to get some help. We had a brief phone call to discuss our situation and if he could help. Guillermo asked good questions to build an understanding of our situation and recommended an initial visit to meet Chip.
On the initial visit Guillermo took the time to understand my specific frustrations and needs. He also started to work with Chip to understand his temperament and how best to train him. I was amazed to see how differently Chip acted within just a few minutes of working with Guillermo. When Guillermo recommended one-on-one sessions to help teach me and Chip it was a no brainer.
After the first two sessions I could see a noticeable difference in Chip. When we finished our final session I felt confident in my ability to continue training Chip on my own and Chip's ability to learn.

My gorgeous golden retriever was too strong for me to control when he pulled and jumped at other dogs.
I was scared of getting hurt when I walked my dog. Guillermo trained my dog with care and instructed me how to communicate with my dog. It was I who had to understand my dog's language. After working with Guillermo, I am not afraid of taking my dog for walking or passing by other dogs. Walking together became such a fun time!!
