WHAT WE OFFER

All classes are outdoors, subject to the weather. Start on ANY week (space permitting) and attend for 5 classes. Each class is a duration of five weeks.

To register for this class your pup must be 9 weeks to 6 months old.

Training is crucial for all dogs, especially for young dogs. In this class you will learn to effectively communicate with your dog, how to use tools properly and reinforce behaviors you want, rather than correcting behaviors that you don’t want.

Your pup also will learn the five safety commands, the importance of markers, touch, place command, crate/kennel training, potty training and appropriate social and safe behavior in public.

According to AVSAB (American Veterinary Society of Animal Behavior) "early and adequate socialization and programs of positive training can go a long way to preventing behavior problems and improving bonding between humans and dogs. In general, puppies can start puppy socialization classes as early as 7 – 8 weeks of age. Puppies should receive a minimum of one set of vaccines at least 7 days prior to the first class and a first deworming.”
