Growing up in Colombia, surrounded by animals and nature, Guillermo Roa (Memo) developed his love for dogs. His communication with canines became something he was known for. People would ask him for tips on how to teach and care for their pets - even their dogs began to call him for counseling.
In 2013, Guillermo earned his certification at The Animal Behavior College. The main focus in his training is canine obedience and understanding behavior. His experience with dogs has taught him that training should be fun for both the dog and the owner.
In 2017, he earned the Therapy Dog Evaluator Certification from American Kennel Club. His current therapy team is with Molly Jo, a two-year-old chocolate Labrador, together they frequently visit centers including, Covenant House, Bethany House and more.
